Partnerships with universities

ASFU invites universities in the United Kingdom, Spain and beyond to collaborate on credit recognition, validated delivery and joint research in movement science.

Collaboration models

Five ways to work with ASFU

Each model can start small, with one programme or one cohort, and grow after joint review.

MODEL 1

Credit recognition

Your university recognises ASFU credit toward its own awards, through an articulation or RPL agreement.

MODEL 2

Validated delivery

ASFU programmes are validated by your university and delivered online under your quality framework.

MODEL 3

University-branded courses

Programmes run as your institution's own short or postgraduate courses, with ASFU content and tutors.

MODEL 4

Joint research

Collaborative studies in applied biomechanics, rehabilitation and youth movement, with co-authored outputs.

MODEL 5

Faculty exchange

Guest teaching, external examining and shared supervision across institutions.

YOUR PROPOSAL

Something else in mind?

We will look at any model that keeps academic standards clear for students.

Mapping to UK frameworks

Certifications are written to RQF level 5 descriptors and diplomas to FHEQ level 7. Credit converts at 1 ECTS-equivalent to 2 UK credits, so a 60 ECTS-equivalent diploma equals 120 UK credits, the size of a Postgraduate Diploma.

  • Credit-rated short courses and CPD
  • Recognition of prior learning toward a taught master's
  • Validation under the partner's academic regulations
  • External examining by partner staff
